has anyone come across a good refill for these?
SilverbreezeI ran through a small stack of money, and a larger stack of journals. None of them fit until I found myself right back where I started. I stuffed a Rhodia Webnotebook into the thing. It holds tightly, and once the leather loosens up a bit it opens and closes without any problem. Plus, I've got good paper, the spiffy bookmark, can still reach the pocket on the back flap of the webbie, and best of all I can write without any problem on the left page since there's a nice board there that keeps the paper flat. Hope that helps. Let me know if you've found something better.

TheProfessionalCurmudgeonI tried a Rhodia Webnotebook too, it fits a wee bit better than a Leuchtturm 1917 of the same size, although it has fewer pages. I take it you don't stuff the boards into the leather pockets in order to keep the paper flat?
The included paper seems alright, on par with Leuchtturm 1917, but I prefer the Clairefontaine/Rhodia vellum paper. I tried finding this product on the manufacturer website to see if it's possible to buy refills directly from them but found nothing.
devreuxSorry Devreux, I just now saw your reply. In case you didn't from other comments, I do stuff the covers into the leather pockets. It loosens up some over time, and allows you to close the cover to line up the latch easily.
Hope that helps.

TheProfessionalCurmudgeonMy Rhodia Webnotebook fit snugly out of the box, I was curious about how it feels to write in it since there's a slight ridge in the first and last pages where the leather piece of the pocket ends, about a third in from the outer sides. It isn't very noticeable to me. I do find it difficult to write on the left side though due to the metal piece - it gets a bit wobbly.
