I have the copper version, it's my favorite flashlight. I can't believe how good the throw is. I'm only going to get lensed/magnified lights from now on. Off the balcony I can light up raccoons at the end of the yard 20 yards; it's still intense. It makes an old fashioned twenty foot wide search light circle. Very distinct. Compared to the Maratac Brass in line I got it is a million time better for everything. The flat lense brass style that sold recently it's fine for rooms and garage searching but no good outdoors past ten feet. The lens is great. If you want red or close up the lowest mode is super low light, it'll be fine for in-tent without waking others. Also the off the side makes it so you can set it upright on the grill and cast light on the steaks. Recommend keeping it separate from other EDC pocket stuff because uh, it's for looks, and the lense pokes out. Wrapped mine in microfiber cloth for double duty for the cloth. It is, as another reviewer said, more jewelry like: very amazing to look at and fondle and it has this old fashioned/new fashioned thing going.
