I have a few other Maratac flashlights, and i love em. Didn't even look at the description when i saw the copper version listed, as every time I've looked at their site, this has been sold out.
I have the AAx2 Extreme and the AA Stainless Rev 3, and both have been outstanding. They came to me flawless, the threads are buttery smooth and pre-greased, thought I'm not a fan of the "Glow in the dark o-ring". It only works WELL if you have the light on for a few minutes, and even then it only glows for about 10-15 minutes at a rather faint green, though head on it looks fairly cool.
Both of mine have been great so far, fair warning however. On Maratacs website, they list this at the bottom of every page, for different battery types:
"A note from the legal department: We do not recommend the use of 10440 rechargeable batteries with this flashlight. It is designed to use a off the shelf alkaline, lithium, NiMH or Nicad AAA batteries. We do not recommend use of higher voltage batteries. Any attempt to modify these lights will void the warranty. We know when you try to remove the pill..."
