I got this light a few drops back. I agree the big selling point of this light is the copper body. It is undeniably cool.
I'm ambivalent about the performance of the light, however. It's OK. I expected a brighter beam from a light of this size and weight.
Also, the beam seems a little too spot-lightey to me. A little wider beam would be easier to use and more useful.
The big turn off for me, though, was that the beam has a slightly yellowish-green color to it. Well, slightly yellow would have been fine - I prefer my lights to be just a bit warmer side of neutral.
But the yellowish-green cast has an interesting effect: whenever I mess around with the light and turn it on, I tell myself that the yellowish-green cast isn't that bad. Still perfectly usable.
But in real life, I find myself never reaching for this light. I have to many other lights with more agreeable beams, color-wise. So this light has not seen any real everyday use.
So I probably would have been better off not having purchased the one I did. I have a feeling I'd be quite a bit happier if my light didn't have that yellowish-green cast.
