Too bad this doesn't take a RCR123 (16340) lithium ion cell, or have a neutral white emitter. Drivers for this size are common. No excuse
Some people have used the 16340 battery without any problems.

You have any links to this being able to handle a 4.2v 16340? They say nothing about it on the website. Usually when a light can use both, like many Olights, and many other lights, its a big selling point.
Also, without seeing some sort of beam shot, I don't trust this is some ugly blue light emitting LED. Stainless is not good material to transfer heat away from LED like copper or aluminum is. Without proper heatsinking the life of the emitter can be drastically reduced.
I have both the SS and the Cu Maratac, and sad to say my newer SS has an uglier greenish tint when shine side by side.
So you have to try your luck with the tint lottery too
I hear ya. I have enough lights where I lost the tint lottery. Have 6 lined up for emitter changes right now.
i think theres some on budgetlightforum. i use it but then i cant link to myself!lol i dont run it continuously so that the battery runs dead. its just for a few minutes at a time.
