Know what I would love to get? A Maratac midsize Pilot offset 50˚ like the Longines below. It was for WWII pilots to wear on the inside of their wrist and because of the offset it lined up with their cockpit instruments while they had their hands on the yoke.
They were huge, basically strap on pocket watches. The Longine pictured below, the "Avigation" is a $5K watch.
I started wearing my watch on the inside of my wrist because my dad did. It's a throwback, I still do it if the watch is small enough but most watches today are too large. I think a mid sized Maratac, perhaps with the red crown and movement, offset like the Longines to allow it to be worn inside the wrist would be a killer timepiece.

Recoil_RobI agree. An angled - dialed " Driver " / Hacking Automatic would be Great ! I'd even consider a Straight Mechanical, if It had a "power reserve" of more than 36 hours. In either case, I'd also consider 42 - 44mm to be the Case Size " sweet spot". ( Verses 32.5 mm , being the Most common size ; in the U.S. Army Air Force WW II issued ' A- 10 ' ! ) While I Don't know the above Longines Pocket Watch Movement . I'm assuming a '3-hand', is What your hoping for. Would the 'Seagull' homage to the 'Unitas' ( a Mechanical), suit You ? But Perhaps, the Most desirable Benefit /Feature ... "complication", on ANY Mechanical or 'Automatic'; would be a "power reserve indicator".
