I've never owned a Maratac watch but I soon will be. However, I noticed Maratac do not construct their watches with a Date or Day/Date. So we all know inside SR-3 is the Miyota 9015 movement. Does this mean this version of the Miyota 9015 is without a date calendar? or It has a date calendar inside but just isn't visible since there is no Date window?!

Good eye. The Miyota 9015 in the SR-3 is slightly modified because it does not have the date wheel insert. The mechanism is still present but not visible. It's common for manufacturers to omit the date aperture but still utilize a 9015 because they are going for a cleaner aesthetic and the handing winding, amplitude and hacking are all desirable features contained within a workhorse movement.
As I mentioned before, the date mechanism is still present. This means you can click the crown into the B position and you can still rotate the crown to ratchet the date. If you put your ear up to the watch, you can hear the mechanism clicking away.

Thanks for the info! I'm definitely lucky to get this watch and at this price!
