Why does the SR-3 mock me??? Every time this drop appears, I get so tempted to buy, but hold off on doing so. I think at one point, I had it in my cart and I was about to pay, and then I saw the case diameter. A 40mm diameter is a bit of a turn off for me. 42mm is my sweet spot.

WeirdGI hear you. But this is great. I love my Seiko skx009. It is 42. But I snagged one of these last time. And I love it. Great lume. Unique dial. I really like that it is streile. No clutter. I say go for it.

Supercoop03I know that... I meant, how does the SR-3 compare to the 009? The 007, 009, 011 are all similar... just some minor differences.

WeirdGSorry. Its great the lume is about the same. Both great. The bezel is presice and easy to move. Claimed 42hr reserve mine will go 46hr. Very accurate. Mine runs 2-4 seconds fast in a day. After 3 days of wearing straight it was only 18 seconds ahead of my Gshock on the 4th. And it wasn't worn the 4th day. Only thing I would change is. Wish t was 200m instead of 100m. But 100m is probably fine for anything I'm going to do.

WeirdGI like watches so this is in my rotation. If you are a watch guy it is a good addition to the collection. Just because it's unique and not one that everybody has.
