It appears this light may not be Maratac’s newest REV 3 model, so possibly it is REV 2. I love Massdrop, but they sometimes have discrepancies with their descriptions. The REV 3 has a “glow retainer ring” around the lens which Massdrop’s pictures indicate it has but the specifications on Massdrop say LED Type: Cree XP-5 R5/G2 while the Maratac website says REV 3 has LED Type: Cree XP-G3. I will refrain from joining this drop unless Massdrop will clarify and it is actually REV 3. You can purchase the REV 3 currently for $44.95 from Maratac and be certain of getting the correct revision. Notice even Maratac has a discrepancy...their URL for the REV 3 still reverence’s REV 2. Just a simple mistake of not updating the link even though they updated the page’s info.
