I see these are back. To anyone who owns some, how rigid are these straps? Every time I think I want to use a nato or a zulu, I throw one on and it's unpleasantly stiff. I want something soft that doesn't retain a shape.

ThraciaThey're stiff at first, but soften up with wear. I've got several (maybe four? five?) and they're floppy and don't retain a shape. Wash 'em in hot water with some dish soap and a toothbrush, air dry, and they're stiff again. Wash them in cool water with some gentle shampoo and a brush, they tend to stay soft.
(also, even when new I wouldn't call them 'rigid,' they're comfortable off the bat, and while they may maintain a bit of an arc shape when you take them off at first, they're still plenty pliable, it's not like they're shackles. easily the best nylon bands I've used, between 4-5 different brands/manufacturers, over the years. I do prefer the three-ring though, the extra band on the 5-ring, under the watch, adds bulk with no real value as far as watch security goes)
