Marmot Air Lite Jacket

Interesting, learned about the existence of a new metric. Anyways, my ape index is .96. I'm basically 2 inches (for both arms) from being a 1, so a 1-inch length discrepancy could be tolerated and accommodated based on my falling 1 inch short of the Vitruvian ideal, but not 6 inches... I measured another mid-length jacket I own, and for my chest circumference of 36.5-37 (size S) the sleeves are 26 inches. This jacket (or at least its size chart as provided by Massdrop) is 32...

I'm a Men's Large and the sleeves might be a little short on me, according to the sizing chart. Do you have a very short ape index? Either way, if that's the case, there's probably some inconsistency in sizing or a poorly-written-up size chart. Massdrop has gotten details wrong when copying from manufacturer sites before.
