One of the lightest tents in Marmot’s lineup, the Bolt series packs lots of features into a freestanding double-wall design. Available in two- or three-person sizes, both are built to strike the ideal balance between weight, roominess, and easy setup Read More
I have a Marmot Force 1p tent which is about 2 lbs 4 ozs. Its side entry but otherwise very similar to this. Quite livable for a 1 p tent. I like it a lot. I actually like front entry tents with this design a lot (I usually use a Protrail.) And at just over 2 lbs for a tent with this footprint, I would probably snatch this up if I didn't find Marmot's customer service to be SO bad. I mean its ridiculously bad. To the point where they should probably be fined by the state of California consumer protection division. Like they don't answer calls, emails, letters, FB messages for a legitimate warranty claim. NOTHING. Their FB site is a litany of complaints stating the same thing. If you buy this tent...I hope you have good luck with it...because if you have any issues at all you are likely stuck paying to repair it yourself.
If you can use the code on the Marmot website (it won't work for me) the price is the same as Drop's. Marmot does charge CA tax, not sure about other states. You can choose $0 shipping on Marmot's site.
Still like Dan's tent more. But, this one is free standing.
