With their antique and distressed look, these straps are excellent complements to vintage watches. One hundred percent handmade from calf and goat leather, each strap has straight edges for a put-together look Read More
I put the short 18mm mustard strap on my Seiko 5, and was essentially content at first--though the strap felt light and thin. After several weeks of daily wear, the stitching came loose on one side (cosmetic issue), and not too long after the black inside surface revealed itself to be poorly glued and started to peel off. After ~1 year, one strap end wrapping around the lug torn off completely when putting on the watch. Not worth $34, for I've had $20 straps last longer.
Stitching was quite sloppy, and is slightly unraveling. There were also some glue-like residue on the leather, which was kind of a deal-breaker for me. This isn't part of the "distressed look," but more of a quality issue.
Will Look good on my friends Omega Speed Master from 1990.
Grabbed one of these for my friends birthday present for his Omega ,, both of us were impressed with the quality here of these leather straps ,, very nice ,,,
Photos soon .
The mustard yellow leather is very soft and looks like it will wear well. The steel buckle compliments the Marathon GSAR I put the band on. Very pleased with it.
I bought 2 of these last drop, a grey and a greenish brown. The grey had glue on the upper surfaces of the strap loops and a little in the strap. The greenish brown was better finished but after only 3 hours of wear the thread near the buckle began to unravel, they are made of nice soft leather but the finishing/quality control leaves a lot to be desired. I paid (with import duty and taxes) nearly $90 for the two, I reckon I could get better quality for the same price e.g Colareb.
Drop issued a partial refund if $20 credit on the strap with the unraveling thread.
