Ummm, are there nested steel liners or does this pivot on bushings directly in the scale material? I have concerns over the longevity of a high stress/wear point being solely of an epoxy based substance rather than hard metal. At first this sounded like an extremely good deal but this design concerns me. Too bad, I like the micarta idea and all other aspects make this an exceptional knife for the price.

"Another win for security’s sake is the finger choil in the handle scales, which makes a perfect place for an index finger." On the blade, we call it a choil. When it's on the handle, it's called a groove. Carry on!

Jonas- it sounds like Ares13Fox got a bad knife and worse customer service. I hope that you guys are going to rethink this and do the right thing. If you think that telling this customer that he does not have a defective item is the right thing, then you should have the decency to post the reasons that you are taking this stance. Thank you.

I have the burlap micarta model. I love the materials and many design aspects, but there are some flaws that shouldn't happen at this price. T jumping on the lockback is stupid and gets irritating after a while, no chattering on the micarta, looks like it's designed for hard use, but no liners, and the tang and lock back lever aren't flush with one another creating unneeded wear and friction.

No pictures of the clip side of the knife? No pictures of the knife profile in closed position? Why not? The lack of picture angles is ridiculous considering you want $150 for this knife.

The description says it uses the thumb hole to open, so not a flipper, and considering it's a lockback, I'd say that it won't be on bearings either. Also, it is all carbon fiber. or whatever scale material you choose, since both scales are freed up (as it isn't a frame lock).

Images from other sites show a lanyard hole those displayed here do not. Which is it? And removable glass breakers?
