Somewhere between a gentleman’s folder and a tactical knife, the Maserin Trigger sports an unconventional look. The handle is made up of two parts: a stainless steel frame surrounded by your choice of bocote, cocobolo, or ebony wood scales that cover about two thirds of the surface. The bare section of the frame is where the folder gets its name. A raised piece of metal on the scale is where the knife is opened and closed, acting like a trigger for the back lock. Press it down to deploy the blade, and again to close it. The slim 440 stainless steel blade is great for detail work and getting into tight areas. Another touch of style? The blue titanium pocket clip on the backside of the handle. Feel free to remove it if you want a more subtle piece.
