The expected value from these packs is $13.14 at today's tcg mid prices. The only way you'll make you money back is if you happen to open a Port. Also, it takes 24 packs to draft an 8 man pod, so how does 9 packs constitute a draft set?

liryonA lot of players just do 6 man anyway, so I think the idea is to buy two of these lots for 6 players, or 3 if you have 8-9 players wanting to do this format. But even then it'd be hard to convince 5+ friends to shell out almost $30 a pop to bust packs worth half that on the secondary market.
