Snapped one of these up after grabbing a refurbed ENTR. Wanted the hotswap functionality, and to see if there was a step up. Overall, I would say is both are great quality, and there is little improvement to be had. Haven't used the hotswap yet, but plan to swap out the clickys it came with for some linears, probably a Panda.
Oh - and the 'A-spec' description can be trusted, I can see nothing that would make me think this was sub-par quality (the ENTR spacebar is a bit janky however, as noted in the description).
Bought this with the discount from the Keyboard Club and dang it is fantastic. A Drop Alt keyboard for the same price as a cheapo plastic one from Amazon? Amazing. Also of note - my one did ship with the upgraded feet with the two magnets too!
So I made a review on YouTube and I was wondering if anyone could give me feedback? I hope my review actually helps you with your purchasing decision. https://youtu.be/kQFORQe-qJU
It’s such a huge improvement over prior membrane keyboards I’m unable to provide much more commentary. Do the stabs suck? Maybe, but I planned to mod the thing anyway. Looking forward to some key caps sets and switches
I really enjoy the small form factor. It was only available with blue clicky switches, I enjoyed them but changed them for more responsive ones. Works great for a fraction of the price.
This keyboard is a bit odd to me because I'm used to a full size logitech 10key keyboard which I'm never going to get rid of.
I think this is one I'll be happy to carry around with. The feel of it is wonderful and the lighting is pretty cool. I do want to find a case to fit it in so I can throw it in my go bag.
I really do like this keyboard a lot. I havent had any long term issues like double entries/keychatter. It's bright and has an excessive amount of rgb. Plus i got it with a number! Stabs are horrible as usual.
The only thing that makes it a refurb is that it has the old branding. I've since lubed and modded the stabs and made my own holy pandas and the board is truly amazing.
