Massdrop does lootcrates now?
Imo this is silly unless you are in the US, and even then, with amazon you could just buy the headphones, prime next day.
So I consider this a "oh i needed $20 iems, and a chance at better, thats cool".
Curious to see how many people join the drop, and to not be so negative, I guess this can be exciting (for some).
lol they've been doing blue boxes forever
well that 's embarrassing... lol.
Why? This one isn't as great but some of them have awesome prizes.
I believe he means it's embarrassing for him to just realize that they have been doing this for a long time now.
oh okay. lmaonaise is a great username btw
yeah that I didnt know is embarrassing even though I am on massdrop a lot. I am more irritated at this whole 'gambling' idea being implemented in video games (crates) pre-order bonuses and to some extent this bluebox. The seller is in a position to guarentee their profit, people like me obviously ignore and move on, but those who are inclined to take risks/gamble (it is their right afterall) may make a purchase they otherwise would have avoided. I guess in general those practices are anti-consumer, and massdrop is supposed to be pro-consumer. Im probably reading into this too much, I have gamblers in my family...
lol thankyou, roflmywaffle, lmaonaide, roflcopter... there are literally dozens of us!
yeah i'm a gambler and i love stuff like this, i spent ~400 gems on GW2 crates recently lel
(that's like $5 but it adds up when you do it over and over)
I used to buy keys in rocketleague until I realized that reddit/r/rocketleagueexchange exists and the long term cost of keys is more than just buying the rarer items I actually want. No it isn't fun like opening a crate, but it is a logical approach to the end product. If I had kids I would be very nervous about these game mechanics being introduced to them.
I spent a few hundred on TF2 before I discovered trading. rip wallet
