I'm going to be selling my Heaven IV's for a couple reasons:
To get the proper audio quality I have to shove these way into my ear canals, which isn't particularly comfortable. These didn't come with any foam eartips (apparently they can be bought separately but I'm not going to bother because I doubt that it would help that much).
The audio itself has harsh highs to my ears and weak bass (they sound better on acoustic tracks).
The cable is flat and has horrible microphonics. I expect a better cable in this price range.
While these work fine on most devices, on my cellphone (HTC One M8) I only get audio from the left earbud. This is a dealbreaker since I don't have a dedicated DAP (yet, I've been eyeballing the newly released FIIO X7). Even if I did have a DAP I expect to be able to use IEM's on my cellphone when I want to.
If they ever open this drop again I hope prospective participants find these comments helpful.
So in summary, this drop was a bust for me in every possible way. Oh well, live and learn.

Weird - I also have an HTC One M8, and the Heaven V Agings I received work just fine with it. Sounds like you're not getting a good contact for some reason when plugging the IEMs into the phone. BTW, my initial reaction to the sound was similar to yours but I tried some Complys foam tips in the smallest size I had, and it was a big improvement - still very midrange centric, but improved enough in the bass that I'm now enjoying them. YMMV, I guess.

What series of comply tips did you get? I was looking at their website and I only found compatible tips for Heaven IV and Heaven VII, so I didn't want to jump in and buy something that might not fit

I used the 200 series, seem to fit. The Finals go so deep in the ear canal that I had to use the smallest sized ones - I use the medium ones for my other IEMs (HiFiMan RE600) because they don't sit as deep.
