FridayparsonSounds about right. I've been in that place a few time recently and the people that run the show don't seem to really care that much about customer service. Their check cleared and they could give two shits about us. Massdrop you need to do something here.

FridayparsonYou've GOT to be kidding me? All of this rhetoric about working on the issue and they haven't even reached out to him yet!?!?! Wow. If Massdrop seriously has no intentions of making this right I am done here forever. The only reason I haven't gone in on two other drops (one of them being a huge purchase of a DXRACER Tank series chair) is because I wanted to see how this specific drop was handled.

jhowell1030I really think this "wait til Wednesday" thing is just massdrop hoping this will all die down. So they can screw over a more docile crowd. Notice, no one from massdrop has replied to anything today.

FridayparsonHonestly, that's the way it should be. Massdrop was Deriums' customer, not us. If we have a problem, we go to Massdrop. If Massdrop has a problem, THEY go to Deriums. Deriums' claim that they haven't been contacted by Massdrop doesn't mean a whole lot. It's completely possible that Massdrop got exactly what they purchased from Deriums, so now it's entirely up to Massdrop how to rectify the situation with us.

chronohartMaybe, except that to be fair massdrop was expecting SOI to be shipped out. My paraphrased question to Aaron was, "So the massdrop was supposed to contain SOI boxes, but you couldn't get any?" Aaron said that was correct.

jhowell1030Sadly Derium's used to do their own Monthly Magic Grab Bag that was really good. And they only did it in response to Monthly Magic Box, which was the same type of rip off this is.

FridayparsonIt'll be interesting to see what happens on Wednesday. For the time being, I'm just going to Amazon first to see if what I want is offered for Prime members, after that I'll just buy exactly what I want straight from a vendor. If they make this right then they'll have me around for the foreseeable future. If not, I'll spend my money elsewhere and use every avenue possible to recommend that no one spends a dime in here for as long and as often as I can...even after I've already spent almost a grand here in the last year.

FridayparsonThat's only what Deriums says, though. Maybe Massdrop ordered "the cheapest boxes you can get, but try to make it SOI". We, as customers of Massdrop, have no right to get pissed off at Deriums until Massdrop explains how this all got screwed up.

chronohartDerium's threw themselves under the bus. Aaron told me he ordered the contents of the massdrop box. Massdrop isn't a fulfillment house, they rely on vendors to fulfill drops. It isn't like Derium's said massdrop gave them the stuff to put in the box, Derium's admits it was them.

FridayparsonWhen I was in Derium's and they were putting the boxes the dude I was talking to told me that he designed the boxes. My theory is that Massdrop reached out to a pool of vendors and asked them for a quote to create a box that would meet the minimum requirements as advertised. Derium's provided the best price and got the job. The rest is history.

He said has no intention of rectifying the situation himself or on behalf of Deriums. Anything done to fix the problem will have to come from massdrop. He also hasn't even been contacted by massdrop and has no idea what massdrop may do or not do Wednesday.
He also said he doesn't have any intention on checking or reponding to us on massdrops forum. He said all deriums will do is wait for massdrop to call him about the NEXT drop.
We are so screwed.
