im having hard time believing that this isn't fake. I mean you literally have 50% chance to double or triple up your money. There is no way that massdrop or nuforce can earn money on this. Odds got to be fixed. I would buy one pair myself but im 95% sure that i'll get hem2. If you ask me odds are more like 80% for hem2, 15% for hem 4 4% for hem6 and 1% for hem8

You should learn what 'product markup' means. Manufacturing costs of these IEMs is probably like 30$ max. They just make a little less profit here per sale, but more in total after selling many more units. It's pretty much how Massdrop works to begin with, nothing special really.

I think nuforce will gain in the future because at the end, at least 250 people will have their iems (all the series) and will talk about. So the drop is an investement on communication. The more we will talk after the drop, the more units they will sell.
