Joined because of the name. I will not do that again.
Received the 1.0. Admittedly, I am no audiophile, but the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired (even compared to other comparably priced IEMs). Trying to consider whether in good conscience, I can give them away as a gift.
If not, they'll probably go to my 5 year old, aka: "The Build Quality Inspector". I'll report back with his findings...

IEMs are usually terrible compared to headphones. Below $100 is a no-go unless you are masochist (or just don't know).

My Bad. I wrote "headphones". Thanks for the heads up. I did not mean that, and I have edited my post to state: "IEMs".
With that change, I stand by my statement that the 1.0 Sennheiser IEMs do not sound nearly as good as the other cheap, $25ish IEMs I have tried.

You know what? The Under $10 Sony IEM's at Walmart last a hell of a lot longer, and sound just as good. Seriously.... Why the fuck would I waste another $25 on a pair of IEM's that don't even last two months? AND.... I can drive to Walmart, buy them, and have them in my ears in less than ten minutes from the time I pick up my car keys and head for the door. WHY would I pay for IEM's on MassDrop, and wait three fucking weeks for the pieces of shit to arrive?

I disagree. There are some hidden gems out there that are really quite good. Piston 3s and Shozy Zeros are really excellent for the money and probably better then anything is this drop.
