Cree or nichia and why??

jdub576Cree is brighter but cooler/bluish, Nichia color is warmer and has more natural-looking colors (especially with reds). I usually go for Nichia though I wish it was just slightly cooler. I'd say the Cree looks more like a typical LED flashlight.

awkI have this in Nichia titanium and don't regret it. It's plenty bright for dog walking, theater departure inspections under seats, walking around the house. This one I keep in my smallest murse, a leather satchel I bought in Tuscany, Italy. Carrying a small leather bag there seemed more acceptable. Here I typically put a Maxpedition tactical bag in my car, carry nothing. Lol. But I always know this little flashlight is in that bag. Also I paid more like $26 for it. There's no way I personally would pay $35 for this given so many other options at lower price points. But that's just me.
