This is a great little flashlight. I bought it intending to keep it in my work backpack, but I’ve kept it by my bedside because it’s so handy; I use it if I need to go downstairs and all the lights are off, or I need to find something in my nightstand or in my backpack. I have even used it standing on its end as a lantern; it works as a lantern in all settings, the brightest setting actually throwing a good amount of light in the room.
Reasons I dinged it a star: 1) the on/off button is ever-so-slightly tilted... it’s a tiny imperfection, but something I notice every time I pick it up (I’m am admittedly hyper-picky about fit and finish). 2) I would have preferred it to cycle through brightness settings differently; instead of low/off/medium/off/bright/off, I would have preferred bright/medium/low/off, or even low/medium/bright/off. It‘s a lot of presses to get to the high setting.
I like it enough though that I’m considering a second one in a different color to actually carry with me, but not until I research competing lights.
