I thought my previous flashlight was great for packing, but I had no idea that it was oversized and underpowered until this showed up. Being titanium, it is both more solid and lighter than what I had been using, and rather than living in my weekend bag it goes into whatever bag I happen to carry, sometimes just a pocket even though I am pretty sure I won't need it. In a perfect world it would be deeper carry with longer battery life and a strobe setting, but it is already an awfully nice world.
