This is the second I got. The first one stopped working after two days. The button switch wouldn't turn on the light. I received the second one and so far it's working. Contrary to what's advertised, there aren't three distinct light settings. The medium and high are practically the same output. The low mode is brighter than expected. It's a beautiful device. The blue color and brass combination is great. The finish is good. Knurling is aggressive, but not too sharp. A little heavier and longer than my other AAA flashlight (Thrunite Ti3), but negligible.
mkcaveYou had to have hit some bad luck. The difference of med and high on mine is pretty noticeable. And the reason I like this light is the button. Most lights like this you have to twist the head on and off to cycle and that gets a little annoying.
jack.shenthanks man. It's been a little over a week now, and the light stopped working again. I'll be reaching out to Massdrop. This just isn't going to work for me.
jack.shenI may have solved your issue. My light did the same thing when I used a different battery.
It was an Enloop fully charged. But no difference in med and high. But when I changed to a different enloop the difference in med and high was greatly noticeable. So you may have a batch of batteries that are no putting out the needed juice.
For example i got a batch batch of the black enloops. And after charging them. They all drain within 3 days. But the black enloop that came with my surefire titan doesn’t have that issue
