I am a Lumintop fan and looking forward to these brass beauties. I just purchased two of the Nichia and two Cree. Sharp little lights with great specs.
Thank you kindly Massdrop for the offering.

weklundLooks real cool! If you don't mind me asking instead of googling... did you put the light in boiling water with an egg in it, or rub a hard boiled egg on the surface of the light, or mash up a boiled egg and leave it and the light in a sandwich bag? thanks!

EvshrugVery easy process. Hard boil 2 or 3 eggs and chop fine. Place chopped eggs into a zip lock baggie. Place entire light into baggie and coat evenly with warm egg mixture. Remove excess air from baggie and seal. Roll the baggie up so egg mixture is firmly pressing against the flashlight body. Let stand for at least eight hours. Remove light and wash with warm soapy water. Done deal. This patina seems durable and will hold up very well over time.
Have Fun.

EvshrugOr you can just use your flashlight for a few weeks and let it naturally develop a look that's uniquely yours.

MassDAged by time or purposely, looks cool either way. But I'm going to do the egg thing.
