I saw somebody complaining about spamming from Massdrop. I'm pretty sensitive about the amount of email I get but getting a notification of new stuff in the communities I'm interested in is useful to me.
I wasn't in the market for a new flashlight because I have many, many already but nothing like this one and it looks great and the price can't be beat so I joined the drop and will eventually have yet one more flashlight (but this will be the smallest). I probably wouldn't have joined the drop if I hadn't seen the email specific to this drop.

ScropeThey have definitely been sending out too much sh** lately and it's really a pain when they are not even good deals. This one is a reasonable deal except 1. they changed the specs, and 2 then they delayed the closing se we can all wait longer. They really have a knack for doing stupid things. It's easy for them to have a second drop for people who miss the first and they could have had a second one if they got enough requests for a different configuration... but no they didn't use their polls they just did what they wanted and they made 2 mistakes which could have been avoided and made them more money. They have been doing this a lot lately I think someone else is running the show now or they have god bored and it's now all about the money and little thought to doing it right.
