The Astrolux S41 light screwup recently...Massdrop did NOTHING for their screwup....since this is a new product, I expect no warranty or help from Massdrop...

Username-1928328The material (brass) is new. This light is based on the Lumintop Tool AAA, which has been around for a few years. There are also a Copper and a Titanium version of this light.

MassDAh, no it is not based on the lumintop tool! very different in size, battery required, etc. totally different.

kennqcYes it is. Pictorial prove all over the internet with this light's parts lego-ing perfectly with other versions of Tool.
I'm talking about the brass light here, as OP claimed this is a new product.
