All 6 of mine came today! QC of the machined parts is great on all 6. The one I actually opened works great! The capacitor in the switch charged up pretty much immediately unlike what some other people reported.

sweffymoThe little battery in the switch I would think would be charged up on a flashlight freshly produced. Most its hard to tell how long they have been sitting in a warehouse.

ColemanzebAppears to be a capacitor that is charged by the AAA battery.

BassmanI see that same paper Friday when mine showed up. They must of updated the switch. The first titanium tools used a small battery.

ColemanzebNo, the Titanium Tool uses a capacitor as well, not a small battery. The reviewer who first claimed the Tool Ti has a battery was mistaken, partly because Lumintop did not provide much information on how the e switch works when it was first released.
