I got mine this past week, finally got to really play with it this weekend. It is a beautiful flashlight that produces a beautiful light. I am thrilled with the light! All but one thing, the action on the switch.... I have the titanium version which is what led me to jump at the brass, as my EDC has shifted to a mainly brass carry and my wife was wanting a similar flashlight. The titanium light is equally wonderful, and the action on the button is sharp and responsive, I press down it springs up with no slop or wiggle. However, the brass version is insanely sloppy. So much so it feels like it is a two stage switch, I press down and it shifts a little and I feel a click, no light, so i depress harder and further and it finally responds. I don't want to send this back, but I don't think I deal with the slop. I'm really disappointed....
Spanish.OrangeMine has no discernable wiggle, feels fantastic in fact. I'm sure Lumintop has prepared to deal with possible in-warranty issues. Is both yours and your wife's MB AAA having the switch issue? Good Luck to you!

EvshrugI only ordered one brass version, my wife is getting my old titanium one. I'm glad to hear that mine may just be defective and is not the norm, hopefully I can get a replacement.

Spanish.OrangeI have to agree on this... lovely light and a great price, really, but there is definitely a bit of 'play' when depressing the 'on' stud.
I have the titanium version of this (which is possible my favourite EDC flashlight, right now) and the power switch on that is flush with the butt of the light with very little wiggle when pushed, and I have to say, it just feels better engineered. Compared to my Maratac AAA brass it also seems quite light, so not sure what the deal is there.
I'm not sure if any of this will affect its longer term functionality, but it's just something I observed. Plus the brass clip looks a bit naff, but I knew that already ;)
All in all though, a great little light, and I'm very happy.

Spanish.OrangeMine also has a bit of wiggle in the switch, it even feels like the actuator is offset from the center. That is, the switch doesn't operate when pressed on one side, but works fine on the other side. A little bit disappointing as it makes the switch unreliable and sometimes double-presses or doesn't press at all. Warranty return isn't viable for me, shipping from Australia would cost too much.
