Has anyone purchased the brass flashlights from www.bestmadeco.com ? I want both but especially the 18650 version. Curious about overall quality.

GOOD-OLE-USAHow many times are you going to ask that question in the same product forum?
As I said, the prices of those two brass mini-flashlights -- $98 and $164 -- make them particularly uncompetitive with comparable minis on this site, and the total lack of reviews (unless you've found them somewhere) suggest that brass mini-flashes from bestmadeco are unverified extravagant investments. That's how they look for now, at least.

VarholiaglimpI guess I'll ask as many times as needed...to get a response. The response was to "Bassie"...& you've replied to the 1st inquiry, on my 1st day, I did(hence the question not being focused to any particular person). Had someone answered my 1st inquiry, I never would've asked "Bassie" days later... ... ...days.

GOOD-OLE-USAI don't know whether you've been to a lot of internet forums, but it's standard etiquette not to repeat the same question about the same product on several different threads. Try doing that on Head-Fi or SuperAudioFriends.
Calling someone a "dick" when they bother to answer you constructively says more about you than the person you're addressing. I see that you edited the language in the post before this one to make it more polite, which is good.
But you've also edited it to say something completely different, which would make more sense if you created a new post below this one. That way, I could answer the points you raised down there, and if anyone actually follows this thread, my answers in this reply would refer to your post up there.
As far as I can tell, I'm one of two people who took the time to look at and comment on the flashlight you're talking about. That initial reply was my second answer to you.
You also didn't link to the product page to make it easy, which is what most people do. Instead, you cited the name of the site (which is the URL of its home page) and let us do the work. Not the best strategy for making people care.
Allow me to do you a favor, Good-Ole USA. Here, everyone, is the $164 flashlight that my esteemed colleague is talking about:

I get that you want MD to do a special drop involving some version of the 18650, as you mentioned before. But for people to try that light, and for MD to create a custom version, it would have to be cost-effective, reasonably popular in its original form, and/or made by a company that was known and respected for making things like flashlights. Also, ask yourself: given the pricing of flashlights on this site, who's going to want to pay $164 for a good-looking but unremarkable light with great (but untested) specs when they can buy the one in this drop for $29.99? And how much less expensive would that light get assuming Massdrop ever decided to spec its own version? And what would members get for paying slightly less than $164?
bestmadeco.com is the creation of former New York Times art director Peter Buchanan-Smith, and while his stuff looks cool, it's all over the place in terms of specialty. Best Made is definitely a luxury brand that wants to do it all.
Besides which, Buchanan-Smith has that people should "keep a close eye on" his brand's "apparel." He doesn't specialize in things like perfectly thought-out LED flashlights.

VarholiaglimpThere we go... You are correct; I've never been in a forum of any kind. I see now that it's like an "old" person typing in all caps. Understood... I had no clue about common courtesy to link actual page either. I thought I was being nice with the homepage. I'll mark this as a learning experience & keep my butt out of such places. A sincere apology & thank you for your last reply.

GOOD-OLE-USANo hard feelings, Good-Ole USA. No need to keep your "butt" out of here.
You'll probably have a better time on this site if you don't take it personally when someone tries to fix a problem that interferes with what you're trying to do or say.
I've been known to make mistakes myself. And they're not confined to this site.

VarholiaglimpThat's Best Made Co, though. Overpriced stuff they've branded with their name. They're selling the image more than the product. $10 Higo No Kami knives from Japan, stamped with their logo, and resold for $50 are a great example.
With BM Co., you're buying the image more than the actual utility. It's a great image, but by no means does that make their products sensible.

FartTouchAgreed! That's why I emphasized -- more than once -- the fact that it's fruitless to ask Massdrop to collaborate with Best Made Co. The overbroad product line, polite graphic design origins and luxury branding, combined with the rebranding/markup practice, all dovetail into an everlasting nay when it comes to selling BM C wares here.
However, I also wanted to be polite (and, ideally, helpful) to the person who asked for that very thing.
