I bought 5 (gifts) the 1st go around...very pleased with it. The only thing that weirded me out was not reading the instructions, putting the battery in and not having it work. It was then I read and learned that it has a capacitor in the tail cap that needs to charge up...a couple of mins max... and then it worked like butter.
