I picked this up a few months ago and it is one of my favorite EDC items. The three lighting modes are nice, but I only find myself using the low and the high settings. The unit will heat up a bit when using it on the high setting for 10 minutes or so, but it never gets to an uncomfortable level. The clip is a bit iffy so I don't think I would carry it on the outside of my pocket. I opted for the white light version and overall would recommend this flashlight.
