In general it’s a good design. The only flaw is the on off switch. If you use it regularly ther is no issue. If you use occasionally you have to play with it to make it work.

14themoney Not sure where you’re going with this. It’s a Dc circuit. The battery is installed correctly. It appears to be a capacitance type on off switch which in time loses charge.
