I could probably get one customer made in this price range if I tried. Way too much for plexi and plastic leather.

jacobfNo luck needed really. Don't you know a woodworker that is always looking for a project? I sure do. Or you can get a box like this on Amazon or Ebay everyday for under $25. What makes this worth over $100? Is it real glass?no. Is it real leather? No. Is it hardwood construction? No. Problem is there is nothing about this box that is distinctive other than the insert you could probably buy one for watches and modify it for nice savings pretty easily as well. I'm not saying there's no value to buying it ready made from mass drop I'm just saying it's not a worth $110. Your cost on his has to be about 5 or 10.

JohnWEJust search eBay for -"watch box" and there are plenty sub $25 boxes. I agree you may not find one with the dedicated space for knives, my point is that these boxes are sold profitably everyday for under $25. Why is this one north of $100? Mass drop will makee a killing on anyone buying this, but I come to mass drop to find deals, so that is the complaint. I guess the mass drop strategy has changed from group buys at good prices (admittedly low margin) to trying to bring higher margin items like to their user base. This can't cost mass drop more than $15 or $20 to make so the margin here is extreme. I don't blame them, but I will still point it out when things are not a good deal.
