So I'm trying to build a nice little audio setup with my new HD 6XX headphones and I'm looking into buying a turntable (Audio Technica LP120) to play vinyl records. However, I would still like to listen to music from streaming sites off my MacBook and tune in on some speakers if I ever wish to do so. Would this product be able to handle all that I am demanding from it or should I invest in a home theater receiver instead?

gvjeffThis is may not be an ideal product for that purpose. You'd be better off with a DAC amp like the Aune X1S that can handle multiple inputs and spit a signal to powered speakers.
Another nice option would be something like the PD Sprout 100.

mindhead1Curious about the D1. Is that a typo? Or can I just not find it easily in my search engine (always possible)?
I am pondering this (CTH+SDAC) unit, but have visions of one day being able to power both headphones and a turntable (to speakers) via one unit at a reasonable cost.

SingulariousThat was a typo on my part. I meant Aune X1S. With the X1S you have a built in headphone amp, line outs to powered speakers and USB, OPT, COAX, RCA input options.
