So everyone howdy!! I have this ctrl from the last drop, and I’m kinda disappointed in how crazy loud the key rattle is, anyone know if I can purchase dampening foam pads and cut it perfect to place in between the pcb and top cover? Also and replacing the stabs with zeal pc gold plated authentic cherry stabs with krytox lube, not to mention that I have had it for only a month now I would say and I already have 15 cherry blue switches no longer clicking

I tried asking about ISO, Drop's answer was a polite 'fuck you, and shove it', sadly... They refuse to do ISO because their keycaps don't sell a lot of ISO, completely ignoring that that might be because pretty much all options for HAVING a keyboard where you would bother buying keycaps FOR, are ANSI keyboards. No shit Drop doesn't sell a lot of ISO keycaps when they don't sell fucking ISO keyBOARDS...! So yeah, we're basically getting the finger on this one... Oh, and the best part is that this is from their EU facility, and most of the EU uses ISO, so it doesn't even make sense, they're not even trying to sell to the majority of actual customers in the market they're in for this drop...

Is there anywhere to subscribe to changes/updates to these keyboards? If Massdrop/Drop and QMK work out a new feature together, how would I ever know?

I've read a few comments about things not working on B450 motherboards. Does this always happen? Is it only specific B450s? Can it be fixed with a replacement keyboard? I just got an MSI Tomahawk Max and was wondering if I might run into any issues

I have flashed my board numerous times for new keys and LEDs but recently pressing the flash button on the bottom of the keyboard isn't working. Anybody else running into this issue?

Usually you need to hold FN + B for about ~2 seconds when prompted instead of using the pinhole button. That button is only supposed to be for the first flash.

Are those keyboards overpriced? I noticed lots of mechanical keyboards in bestbuy are 50-70% off. For example, Logitech g512, used to $150, now $50; Corsair k95, used to $199, now $109

Those gaming keyboards are typically lower quality (bad stabilizers, thinner/cheaper keycaps, etc) with higher mark up for rgb, required software, and gamer brand recognition. The ones you listed sound like retail stores like best buy trying to clear out old inventory. A better comparison would be to look for deals on other mechanical boutique brands such as ducky, leopold, vortex, varmilo, filco, ikbc to name a few. You'll still find a lot under 200, but like all things then its a matter of which set of features are most important to you.

Good tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD5Zj-ZgMLA Just go a little lighter on the lube than he did. It can feel really mushy with too much.

Has the counter for the number of units sold been reset because of a limit to how high up it can go or is this an updated version of the original CTRL? (I could be wrong, but one of the photos seems to show the newer feet design that debuted on the SHIFT - with two magnetic attachment points - as opposed to the original with one dowel and one magnet, which was supplied with the CTRL and ALT)
