Are this prebuilt? or must i assemble on my own? Any soldering required if its self-assembly?

Since only the barebone version is available right now, you will have to assemble it on your own. No soldering required to swap switches though.

thanks! i'll consider i guess, im assuming no soldering assembly is not too tough. It's just that getting my own switches is likely more costly than if i were to get it together with the board here.

It isn't tough to put in new switches or keycaps. If you go this route, just know that some switches have plastic stems on them that you will have to clip off before installing. I did see they restocked some switch options with keycaps so if you don't mind waiting a little while I highly recommend just preordering.

One of my boards is hotswappable, from LFKeyboards i didn't have to clip my switches and it worked is this something related to the pcb then?

Yes the PCB doesn’t have the extra set of holes for some switches. Some switches have an extra set of plastic pins on the bottom and this PCB doesn’t support those. You can clip them and they will work fine on it
