I need to know more about the noise isolation of the TH-X00 series. I've been told they are more like open-back headphones in the end (compared to some Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro's for example).

enohathese are more like semi-closed back headphones. Just like ZMF headphones with 3 vents and v-moda with vents. These have vents along the edge where wood cups meet plastic casing to move more air for better bass and imaging. It is not as isolating as fully closed back headphones, but not as much leakage as fully open/semi open back headphones.
