Bio Cellulose was introduced in the late 80's by Sony, as a material in their drivers, it is very similar to paper but created by a bacteria, and it could be very very thin, with a very particular sound; and was the major success behind the world known MDR-CD3000 and MDR-R10, which may have really been the Holy Grail, at least as far as dynamic headphones go, which was at the time around 4K and for a headphone a very high price, and probably the best sounding dynamic headphone at the time. 30 years later was still very desirable and chased by audiophiles all over the world.
