My puppy chewed thru my cable and I loved these closed back headphones. I now work at an office where my open back headphones are not appreciated and would love to get my Fostex’ back into shape. does anyone have a recommendation of if I should try to fix these myself, get a local audio guy to fix or have a recommended repair guy or advice of what to pay attention to when fixing this cable? It was chewed at the base of the cable and the headphone. Thanks so much!

Agreeing with Pimpsquadpop (lol) here. Periapt makes the highest quality cables for the best price you can find anywhere. If you want *great looking* cables, I'd go elsewhere. The craftsmanship is high quality, but the connectors they use are pretty bulky- especially the splitters. I will always love and sincerely appreciate Periapt and their customer service though. They're amazing.

Try SURF cables. Owner John Guist. He makes great cables at a reasonable price.

Hey there! I lost mine and after doing some extensive research, I went with the NewFantasia Replacement Audio Cable for Fostex TH-900 MKII / TH610 / TH900 MK2 Premium Headphone 3.5mm Male & 6.3mm Adapter 2meters/6.6ft. I bought it from Amazon and it works like a charm !! I hope it helps.
