Two questions.
Where are these headphones manufactured?
Isn't the impedance a bit on the low end to get all the promised nuance?
rdodevHigh impedance does not make things sound better. The Focal Utopia is under 100 ohms

TheOmegaCarrot"Under 100 Ohms" is ok. My best sounding cans are 80 Ohms. These are listed at 25 Ohms. Big difference.

rdodevLikely manufactured in China like the original TH-X00. I'm fairly certain that all of Fostex's headphones are made in China except the wood earcups for the TH-900s.
The impedance doesn't tell whether or not they sound good.
rdodevThe only time impedance is going to count toward sound quality comes into play with the output impedance of your source. If you have a source with an output impedance of greater than 3 ohms you may notice a change to the "intended" frequency response of this headphone. I own the original Mahogany's and even with an OI of 10ohms these are still great sounding headphones. They can take a ton of current, peak power handling is 1.8 watts.

I_Need_MoneyThanks for the reply re: where it will likely be manufactured. I would think the sponsor of this drop would mention it explicitly somewhere in the product description.
