I just had the screw that screws inside the connector, which holds the ear cup to the ear band together, shear off inside the connector making it impossible to screw it back in. Contacted support and waiting for response. Anyone else have this issue?
Michael.S.ChanI had the exact same thing happen to me a few weeks ago! I looked into replacing the shaft and it cost something like $20, but the company wanted an additional $50 to ship to Alaska! Let me know if you find a replacement that isn't insane.
Michael.S.Chan@DinoMilk Just received my new headphones. Took approximately ~10 days from RMA request to receiving it. Good luck with your pair of headphones. You have to ship the old ones back but everything is paid by Massdrop, including return shipping. Very good RMA experience.
Michael.S.ChanYup, same issue on mine. I was super gentle with them, using them at home only and it still broke over time. Massdrop offered me a new pair tho and was very kind and helpful but regardless, I'm never buying any Fostex again, the build quality especially on the whole TH series is tragic to say the least. I just feel bad for the people who paid over 1000$ dollar for the TH900 and they're basically bound to break just as those X00, sooner or later. It's a shame because I really love their sound, I was hopding the new TH610 would have a re-designed headband and cup holders but Fostex doesn't seem care at all.
