To the people having payment issues, I believe I may know why. Today, I received a phone call from my bank as an automated prompt for 'fraud alert.' It was asking me if I authorized my recent $399 payment for merchandise, and to confirm if so. This was my first time using my card with MD (used PayPal, before), so this may be what the issue is for some. If your bank detects possible fraud they may have blocked the payment if you were not able to confirm with them.
Luckily, Chase will text me within a minute or two when it gets flagged. The flipside of that, is that dang near every electronics purchase (even at a best buy I have already used the card at) will get flagged.
