I like my TH-900 better,therefore my TH-X00 are for sale-$400, if you want it shipped,you pay the shipping fee,otherwise a local sale in NYC.

Lovetroniqso theres a scratch here, ill have to get that fix....the cups are a bit damaged as well. considering its going to sit in my shop for awhile, and i need to make some money off it....ill give you 5 bucks. deal?

rhenomThe Massdrop sales pitch about m9xx and TH-X00 were implying that we are getting a $1500 product for much much less,that was my impression.M9xx was suppose to sound like a Grace 920,maybe even better (improved),and TH-x00 was suppose to be an improved version of TH-900 with tamed highs but for very attractive price.After getting AKG-812 pro and saving myself about $700 i plunged into this drop hoping to save about the same thinking that it's a around $1200 headphones,to me they don't sound as TOTL headphones,so i'm selling them.

Lovetroniq"supposed to be an improved version of the Th-900" please show me a quote where anything like this was claimed? I bet the difference is more down to sound signature than what something is supposedly worth. It may be better to some people purely because of the sig. TH-X00 is maybe 5-10% worse at best? For a third of the price.

LovetroniqIn one of your other posts today you said you were going to sell your pair after listening to them for 15 minutes. Maybe give them a chance? I know some of the better headphones are ones that don't wow you right away but you appreciate over time. If you don't like them you don't like them but it's kinda amazing that you're looking to sell them and saying they don't sound like a "TOTL heapdhone", how would you know? You have only owned them for a matter of hours.

OlympusMonsMaybe they will open up with time,i don't know but with Chord Mojo they were very unexciting for me. 5-10% worse than TH-900? Where did that math came from? TH-900 is a 3D lush plunging into the music,where TH-X00 is dryer sounding,like the "Lush" part disappears somewhere and they become like a different company headphone,that's only my feelings,maybe it's due to the headache i've had yesterday,maybe they need to be burned it. HD-800 and HD-650 also with Chord Mojo sounds like a match made in heaven.It's exciting.Every note of the music.Grado PS 500e with my Fostex HP-P1 is also amazing and super involving for blues or rock. Even M50x gives me wow moments.But these didn't wow me,as a matter effect bored me and gave me a headache for some reason:)) and it just made me appreciate what i have more. By the way ,i liked TH-X00 better with Fostex HP-P1 than with Chord Mojo.So i believe that HP-P1 should be closer sounding to the m9xx since they use almost the same DAC chip.By the way there are 700 people requested re-drop but no one wants my pair now?

Lovetroniqwait the m9xx sounds really good. Maybe like 1000 dollars good but not 1500. I loved that drop. I avoided this one because I knew no way Fostex would make it sound better than the th-900 or even the 600.
Also, I doubt they will open much over time. The th-900 and th-600 sound basically the same after burn-in, I think Fostex does something...
Also wanting 400 dollars for it when it was 399 here with free shipping and there will be another drop? You must be out of your mind hahaha. You should be charging like 380 shipped. Not that I want one, I got some th-600 that slam.

UzuzuNo way Fostex would make it sound better than the 600? Wot. It's basically a tweaked 600 driver! Which is better is just pure opinion, some will like it better than the 900 too. Of course people will buy it for 400 if they missed the drop? Why should they sell it for $380 exactly??? There won't be another drop for months and this is the only way to get a pair now.

marts_sumI believe Jude did say something about the X00 taming the highs (and therefore better) than the TH900. I could be quoting wrong, but I believe that's what he meant by "an improvement from the TH900".
