Mine are out of balance. Right earcup is slightly louder than left one. I corrected it in windows sound settings, left 100%, right 97%. Not much, but it makes everything sound off center otherwise.
And the reason I am telling this - these are not true premium headphones! They are made quite sloppy. And that is why fostex is not charging 1k for them. These are OK headphones, with wannabe premium, mediocre build quality. If they were such "high end", "end game" headphones, these would never pass proper quality control.
Considering I've only seen a handful of people having issues, I'd say Massdrop and Fostex are doing pretty well. There's a thing called a warranty as well. You might want to make use of it.
No, seeing handful people having issues is terrible! Dont just go up their asses. 400$ product with such deffects as missfitted earcups is utterly unacceptable. Warranty? People have waited for this product for 4~5 months! Massdrop responded to some, that they will ship replacement when they receive the damaged one. Do you know how long will that take? Add another 1~2 months! That is terrible. Just terrible! And all these things could have been resolved with a proper quality control. But that is where they cheaped out. And still, there are people who think these are 1000$ headphones with "a nice massdrop disscount". I have heard shitty stories about other massdrop products before. This drop completely verifies that.
