Biodynamic drivers use a bio cellulose material instead of plastic and typically have rubber surrounds like speaker woofers. This will usually give BD drivers more range of motion and can provide greater frequency range and quite often significantly more bass quantity and depth than traditional dynamic drivers.

Well I owned the th900 for about a week and sold them. The highs were murder to me. The PH's on the other hand are W shaped instead of V. The bass on the PH are great but don't have the lower frequency rumble that the th900 has, but the mids and highs are smoother. I love the PH, they are my main headphone for EDM.

Hello,
take a look to periaptcabel.The makes good cabel for a nice price.When you live in Europe it make some Time to delivery it.I find not better cable for a good price.

Does anybody know what screw secures the earcup/earchamber to the headband assembly? Seems like a tiny screw -- mine snapped when I bumped it against a mic.

Mine also snapped while taking it off my head. I'm trying to figure out what to do next - let me know if you came up with anything. I'll check back here if I do.

Yes, they can. I would recommend picking up an extra pair of pad rings if you're going to be pad swapping though.
I found the ZMF Ori pads fit perfectly and vastly improve comfort but you'll have to mess around with the different materials to find which you like the most.
