This is interesting. In looks similar to THX00 but color, cable, connector, clip can be customized.

Those are based off the Fostex RP-series. They are similar only in that they're wood cups with drivers from Fostex. Other than that, they're quite different from TH-X00 (which is touted to be somewhere between TH-600 and TH-900). If the pricing is any indication, a factory T50RP is way below TH-X00. So, I would say they are not really comparable.
Check out the link below for a detailed comparison between some of the more popular wood cups: http://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/zmf-omni-vs-th-x00-and-nighthawk.676/

Appreciated Taures... Thanks... A lot of info in the link.
Because of the long wait, I'm trying to find better alternative with budget of less than 1k. With detachable cable if possible. If I can't find any, I may go with this and whilst waiting I'll get the beyer DT770. Originally was going with DT1770 then when it came out, some reviews weren't positive.

I don't think it's fair to automatically discount any ZMF just because they are based on T50RP drivers, especially since they are re-tuned and or reworked. They are also completely different since they are planar magnetic opposed to the TH-X00 having dynamic drivers. I have not heard the Vibro but they are highly regarded (the recent Rusted Zebra drop on here sold out in a couple hours) but I do own a pair of Blackwood Omni's and they are wonderful. I have not had the chance to hear a TH-X00 but am very interested, hence joining this drop!

Don't get me wrong! Certainly not discounting the ZMFs. I might have jumped on the recent Rusted Zebra drop myself if I had noticed them sooner. I should have clearly stated that price is not always a good indication of SQ in the world of headphones.
Just wanted to dispel any notion that the ZMFs are similar to the TH-X00s because they look similar. As we have both rightly mentioned, they are indeed very different. Different drivers, different tunings, different pads. In my opinion, they should be complementary, and not an alternative to each other. Now if only my wallet agrees with me...

Thanks Ehmora,
Good news is that I have 5 (for now) to think this over before biting. I wish I could listen to ZMF blackwood/vibro, DT1770, THX00 and THX600 before purchasing. Among these Foxtex is the prettiest. TH600 or the DT1770 are buy ready unfortunately I heard a lot of bad things about them.
Option A - Get both ZMF Blackwood and THX though this will make me feel guilty :) Option B - Get DT770 whist waiting for the THX. Option C - THX600 or DT1770
Hard choice.

Taures,
In what genre is ZMF Blackwood/Vibro excels at? And THX?
I basically listen to all genre - Pop, RNB, Rap, Alternative/rock, acoustics and bit of classics/jazz.
If the wait is a month or two this would have been a very easy choice :(

I can't tell you for sure, since I haven't tried either pairs myself.
Check out this review for the Vibro Mk I: http://www.head-fi.org/products/zmf-x-vibro/reviews/15644 and more on the Mk II: http://www.head-fi.org/products/zmf-headphones-x-vibro-mk-ii
Hopefully, that will give you a better idea. =)
