Hey guys, I'm really close to joining in on this drop but I have reservations when it comes to comfort. Could anyone comment on the ability to suffer these being on your noggin for extended sessions (ie 6+ hours).

Wore them for 6+ hours the other day with no problems, I find them comfy.

(IMO) Clamp strength on these is virtually perfect. Weight-wise it's not K7XX-light, but it's far from uncomfortably heavy. Very manageable weight for long periods. The pad opening/depth, unfortunately, are where it can really depend on the user's ears. My ears are quite flush to my head and average-sized (as opposed to sticking out and on the larger side), so the pads are very comfortable and cozy to me. I have 0 problems with extended use. Otherwise, it's hard to say. There are several aftermarket pads you can swap to, but you might not like the way those alter the sound signature.

Good to hear, I tried some DT 1770s a while ago and the clamping pressure was too much for me to bear for 10 minutes. (big head) The K7XXs are a gem in that front. While you said they aren't that light, how does clamping compare to K7XX?

Clamping is less than K7XX. Driver doesn't touch my ears either like the K7XX...

I agree with @marts30; the X00 don't clamp as strongly as the K7XX, but still sufficiently. Oddly enough I let my K7XX go after getting these. :)

As did I, and the X2. They feel like a better X2.
